Cotton Candy Highlights

I had cotton candy highlights done on my hair last Saturday. It was a spur of the moment. I was in a salon, I had money, and then, boom! I loved it. It was supposed to be purple but the stylist said that a lighter color would suit my dark hair. So I agreed. And here was the result.

Now, what do you think? It's not really seen how cotton candy-ish it is because of the disproportionate lighting but whatever.

I'm officially loving it now.

The Grammar Freak

I admit. At times, I can be a grammar freak. I tend to frown upon simple sentences with lots of grammar mistakes. It kind of annoys me. I mean, why do some people keep using the English Language when they can use Filipino instead?

I know, nobody's perfect, and practice makes perfect but there are some people I know who were offered help in the English language but pride took over and they rejected help. Hay, when will they learn?

The Forbidden Game

This, by far is one of the best book series I have read.

The Forbidden Game is written by L.J. Smith, author of The Vampire Diaries. I am a fan of her works. I got hooked to the Nightworld Series, reading the books all through the summer until the start of school year.

Anyways, the book is about Jenny Thornton, a simple girl, and Julian, a Shadow Man. I fell in love with Julian instantly. He has snow white hair, blue electric eyes and dark lashes. Imagine a really handsome young man in his 17s. HOT.

Er, okay. So, for my birthday wishlist, I want to have my own set of The Forbidden Game series. *^o^* I'd be really happy if that happens. If only, someone I know can send me a boxed set of this. Eh, but it was published way back in 1994. I think, there are only a few of these books now. :3

On Waxing

For the first time, I am getting waxed. By me.

I really have hairy legs, it's in the genes. Plus, I always wear pants everyday, which contributes to the growth of my hair.

And now, I decided it's time to end my misery (chos). I bought Epilin Hair Remover at our local mall and tried it my self.

Epilin doesn't need a strip of cloth to pull the hair out because it dries by itself. The wax itself serves as the strip of cloth. I bought the trial pack of Epilin, which costs P103. The wax comes in an aluminum melting pan and a spatula for applying the wax.

First, I melted the wax inside the melting pan by placing it inside the oven toaster since we don't own a microwave oven. Then, I let the wax cool down and have a honey-like consistency. When I made sure that it isn't too hot, I applied it on a small part of my left leg. The size I first applied was like the size of a band-aid. I let it cool for 10 second, in which the wax hardened, enough for me to pull it.

AND HOLY SHIZ DID IT HURT! I almost wanted to cry but I didn't. It hurts a lot, especially if you are a first timer but then, you'll get used to the pain.

And yeaaaah! I got the hairs out! :D

Seambreak + Books = HEAVEN?

I love books! I mean, I really love books.
And this sembreak, I decided to reward myself for getting the lowest grade imaginable. I'm going to buy new books using the money I have saved this sem.

Weird it may seem, I would want to get myself a compensation for not studying hard. Yes, I know I am not smart, and my memory has only 128mb free space.

Okay, I like being weird. I got a grade of 5.0 which is equivalent to 74 and below. But do not fret my dears, this grade is only for my major subject. All my other grades a re 1.75 which is 89-91. See, I study, but not really hard. :D

Anyways, can you guys recommend me books which are worth reading? I would like to read one while sipping coffee.

Disclaimer: Do not attempt to try and get a grade of 5. The consequences are unlikable.

Charlie McDonnell

Yes! I am an avid Charlie fan. If you don't know who he is, better check his videos on Youtube!

Charlie is a vlogger or video blogger. His handsomeness made me watch him more and more but then, it was his humorous videos that made me hooked.
I have nothing more to say, so here's a video for you to enjoy.

And this is Charlie McDonnell, everyone. Isn't he cute? :))

But, I was turned off when I learned he was an Atheist. :(

SHOTGUN [Part1]

[1]

The warm air lightly touches my skin as I wiped a thin film of sweat from my forehead. I almost forgot the reason I was here at school. Oh yeah, it's our Foundation Day and seniors are required to be in attendance. I sighed and shook my head. If I had not gone to school, I could have been asleep by now. It's a quarter past three and yet the school program hasn't started. I'm starting to get bored being alone in our gloomy classroom where numerous hauntings have been reported. I mentally laughed and shook my head. Why am I scaring myself? Silly me.

I stood up and took my bag. I dusted my uniform and headed out the door to look for someone to talk to. Now, where on earth would I find my mentally challenged cool friends? Maybe by the library, studying. But then, who in their right minds would be studying when you dan't have classes for a week? Maybe they're at the canteen, eating to their hearts' content. Or maybe, they're at the faculty, having a lively chat with our teachers, those little suckers. Or they must have gone home, and I'm forever alone.

I reached the mini-park behind our classroom building and sat there. I wrapped my arms around my legs and watched the little ants scuttle by my foot. I played with one, blocking its way with a little stick I picked up the ground. Now, I was seated facing the wall of our building, in case a classmate would wander about in our room.

Loud music was booming from the stage across the campus. So loud that I could even feel the rock I sit on throb to the beat. I heard faint footsteps behind me. I did not bother checking who was it since a lot of students usually pass this way.

The footsteps began to subside. They have gone to another direction. I looked up at our classroom window but then I never saw anything because everything went black.

Crocky-Monster

It has been all over the news, a giant saltwater crocodile was caught on the Agusan Marsh at Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. Pretty creepy, if you ask me.

Lolong, as this crocodile is called, is a 21-foot male specie which was said to attack carabaos in the marsh. It was also reported that a man was missing due to him being attacked by this croc.

And as a proud niece, I am happy to say that my uncle from the Palawan Wildlife Rescue Center (Crocodile Farm) was one of those who helped capture the beast. Though he was credited wrongly, still, my family (excluding me) was proud.

No, I am not bitter, yes, I feel bored about it.

TUMBLR

I found a site almost a year ago. It's name is Tumblr. Being the internet noob I am, I did not have any idea what the hell it is but then I gave it a try and I'm proud to say I'm hooked.

It's an easy place for blogging, I must say.

Plus you can go gaga and fangirl over your fandoms, which are all over Tumblr. Whether you are a Harry Potter fan or you like rock music, just search Tumblr and wa-la! Follow people as many as you like, though there's a following limit of 5000 but nevertheless, Tumblr is the coolest place on earth.

Coffee!

I'm a big fan of coffee. Especially if it's mocha frappe. Yum!

The first "sosyal" coffee I bought and tasted was at Itoy's Coffee Haus, a local coffee shop in Puerto Princesa. And that instant, I fell in love with Mocha Frappe. Then, I went to Manila at treated my best friend to Starbucks, a "sosyalin" coffee shop known to mankind.

The price is just right, unlike the coffee at Itoy's which is pricey for a mere college student like me but the tastes are different. Itoy's Mocha Frappe has a sweet taste with a small hint of bitterness while Starbucks' has a more bitter taste. Nevertheless, I enjoyed both.

I LOVE COFFEE!

I missed this

It's been what, a month? Yeah, my last post was a month ago. I'm busy these days with school and all. Plus I'm writing again! Not that I didn't stop writing but I just didn't have any inspiration to let my words flow.

Ugh. I hate it when that happens. I feel so pressured.

If you guys are interested about what I'm writing, please visit this link right here and let me know what you think.

BYE! :))

Last Friday Night

Okay, I know it's still Tuesday but I can't help but go gaga over Katy Perry's new music vid which is Last Friday Night. The song, I've heard it a long time ago and it's one of my favorite songs from her album, Teenage Dream. It's got a catchy beat, perfect for parties during Fridays.

Here's the link to her new music video at Funny or Die. I love how it's a mini movie and a music video all the same.

"Pictures of last night
Ended up online
I'm screwed.
Oh well.

It's a blacked out blur
But I'm pretty sure
It ruled.
Damn!"

It features several actors and singers such as Rebecca Black(Friday), Darren Criss(Starkid Potter, Glee), and Kevin McHale(Glee). Katy even tweeted: "I used the Inception method by putting @MsRebeccaBlack in a song about Friday. It's a dream within a dream people... #musicvideomindgames” as Rebecca Black's song, Friday, is a bout having a party on a Friday.

I see what you did there, Katy. :)

Playful Kiss/Jangnanseureon Kiss

Playful Kiss is a new show in GMA-7's Dramarama. Imported from Korea, Playful Kiss revolves around the story of Oh Ha Ni(Jung So Min), a clumsy and low IQ student of Parang High who falls for Baek Seung Jo(Kim Hyun Joong) who is a very intelligent student(IQ is 200) and is skilled at almost anything.

Originally, Playful Kiss started as a manga under the name Itazura na Kiss. It was then turned into a Chinovela which is It Started with a Kiss(Season 1) and They Kiss Again(Season 2). However, I had never seen the Anime series nor the Taiwanese version.

I really like Playful Kiss because of the laughs I had from Oh Ha Ni's attempts to make Seung Jo fall for her. Plus, after this series ended, I found out that there is a Playful Kiss Special which is found on Youtube. It features their life after a year of marriage and a special for Baek Seung Jo lovers which is Playful Kiss Seung Jo's Diary.

While watching, never have I been more excited in finding out what will happen to them. (~^__^~)

Also, I love the songs being played during the whole series, especially the song sung by Bong Joon Gu's friends. They are a band named Bye Bye Sea and the song they during the ending of the first few episodes is entitled Marriage Proposal.

Rain

It's the time of the year when you have to get up real early but your body doesn't want to.
Everytime it's raining, I can't help but sleep more. It's cold plus the rain drops on the roof soothes me. I don't know but it just does.

And I found the perfect song for this season.
Fox Rain by Lee Sun Hee which coincidentally is the theme song of the hit Korean series My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (Nine-tailed Fox) which is being aired in ABS-CBN. But I'm not fan of the series though. I watch Playful Kiss on GMA.

The song, as a whole, soothes me like the rain. Plus the melody is just different. It really puts one to sleep.

I'm not superstitious or anything but everytime I play this song, the sky gets darker as though rain is going to pour anytime.

Anyways, it's raining. So, I'm going to sleep now while playing the song over and over on my laptop. Ciao.
